Emma Peacock

Emma Peacock serves as Chair, EGA Health at Edelman Global Advisory. A proven leader in the industry and trusted adviser to senior executives, she is at the forefront of EGA’s advisory team, helping clients navigate complex political trends and policies impacting products, programs, markets, and reputation in today’s dynamic healthcare landscape. Working across the US and Canada, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, she leads a team that designs and delivers engagement programs that advance EGA clients’ policy objectives at global, regional, and national levels.

Peacock has a long, distinguished career of leading impactful global public affairs, policy, advocacy, and communications strategies in the health sector. A 15-year veteran at Pfizer, her international leadership roles spanned multiple business units covering the company’s full portfolio of medicines and vaccines, including Primary Care, Oncology, Specialty and Essential Health. In these roles, she built and led high-performing teams of corporate affairs professionals executing programs that ranged from supporting product launches and tackling patient access policy barriers to building and protecting reputation and executing crisis management plans. Most recently, she served as Interim Vice President of Global Policy & Public Affairs, Emerging Markets, where she led a team of 50+ public affairs professionals responsible for government engagement and advancing company policy priorities across 140 countries spanning Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Previously, as Therapeutic Area Public Affairs & Strategy Lead, Emerging Markets, she led policy and advocacy programs to help expand access to Pfizer’s full portfolio of medicines and vaccines in the region, including Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine and treatment, and also served on Pfizer China’s Extended Leadership Team. Prior to that, as Corporate Affairs Lead, she was appointed to Pfizer’s COVID-19 Global Taskforce to co-lead internal communications to the company’s 75,000 colleagues around the world and coordinate all Corporate Affairs efforts.

Before her work at Pfizer, Peacock led UK government affairs efforts for Sanofi—then Sanofi-Aventis—and British public affairs firm Morgan Allen Moore.
