Toyin Awesu-Uhuegbu

Toyin Awesu-Uhuegbu serves as Vice President, Global Advisory. ​For over fourteen years Toyin has helped organizations use communications as an innovative tool to reach multiple stakeholder groups, raise their profile globally, build partnerships, and shape public policy. Her professional background includes experience working for the U.S. government (Congressional Black Caucus, Prosper Africa), international development (National Democratic Institute) and investment banking (United Capital PLC/Heirs Holdings).

An ardent communications professional, Toyin has also facilitated communications training in Asia and Africa and participated as a communications expert on several topics including financial inclusion, social justice, US-Africa relations, the creative economy, and diversity, equity & inclusion. ​Toyin holds a Master of Science degree in Integrated Marketing & Communications from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Temple University.
