Sophia Tailor is a senior analyst in Edelman Global Advisory’s Washington, DC office where she helps clients develop successful digital and integrated campaigns.
Previously, Ms. Tailor worked for a leading US government affairs firm, advising on climate, energy, and environmental policy and helping her clients navigate complex legislative and regulatory processes. She also brings public affairs experience from her time at the Virginia House of Delegates and the Virginia Sierra Club.
Originally from Lviv, Ukraine, Ms. Tailor is well-versed in Eastern European and Eurasian affairs. She is a 2022 alumna of the Harvard Ukrainian Research Institute (HURI), where she studied Ukraine’s history, domestic politics, and foreign affairs. In her free time, she works extensively with the Arlington Sister City Association, where she oversees events and programs that foster engagement and cultural awareness between Arlington, Virginia and Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine.
Ms. Tailor has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond with a dual major in politics, philosophy, economics, and law (PPEL) and environmental studies. She also spent a semester at the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
