Sean Heaslip is a Vice President with Edelman Global Advisory (EGA) where he helps clients craft, refine and amplify their messaging around energy, manufacturing and sustainability. In his time at EGA, Mr. Heaslip focuses on the plastics space, but has worked across industries including energy, financial services, government and more.
He has held central roles on issues campaigns for food packaging companies, newsrooms and crisis response teams. Within the Edelman network, Mr. Heaslip serves as an expert on a how to engage policymakers at the state and federal level. Before EGA, Mr. Heaslip was a researcher with the U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, where he balanced a complex research portfolio of environmental issues.
Mr. Heaslip currently works with a suite of clients in the plastics and manufacturing space, helping to advance the dialogue for innovation and sustainability.
Before Edelman, Mr. Heaslip led the committee’s efforts on groundbreaking bipartisan legislation in carbon capture technology. Mr. Heaslip's role saw him meet with c-suite to discuss environmental quality issues that impact their industry. Mr. Heaslip graduated from St. Olaf College in Minnesota with a degree in Political Science.
