Salvador Moreno Cerda

Salvador Moreno Cerda is an economist with over 20 years of experience in the Mexican federal government and the private sector. His expertise includes strategic planning, government relations, new market strategies, and country branding. A member of ProMexico’s founding team at the Office of the Presidency, Mr. Moreno designed and supervised Mexico’s 2017 country brand strategy.

At the federal level, Mr. Moreno has also served as head of the regional coordination unit at the Ministry of Tourism, as chief of staff to the Mexican senate, and as an advisor in the Ministry of Agriculture’s free-trade agreement negotiation process with Colombia and Perú.

Mr. Moreno holds a master's degree in economics and finance from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM) and a master’s degree in public policy from the University College London (UCL).
