Robert Eales is an analyst with Edelman Global Advisory in Ottawa, where he works with the public and government affairs team monitoring parliamentary proceedings, reporting on the Canadian political environment, assisting with client research, and preparing internal and external thought leadership memos and analyst briefings.
Past experience includes helping with Canadian federal and provincial political campaigns and contributing to election-readiness efforts on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, as a private consultant.
Mr. Eales has also worked as operations support in the maritime manufacturing sector and in the logistics industry in Montreal. He has served on federal Conservative boards across the country.
Mr. Eales studied at Carleton University in Ottawa, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Global and International Studies with honours. While studying, he participated in an international exchange programme to Mexico, attending the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, where he improved his Spanish language skills.
Mr. Eales grew up in the United Kingdom and on the Canadian West Coast, where he volunteered with the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue.
