Levie Cequena has more than 15 years’ international policy and strategic communications experience working with trade associations, multinational corporations, and government agencies. Originally from the Philippines, Ms. Cequena worked in politics and practiced law before moving to and staying in Singapore for 10 years to focus on health and nutrition policy.
She was previously the secretariat for the European Food Law Association in Asia, and director and practice lead for food and consumer products in Southeast Asia of a global public affairs agency. Ms. Cequena studied advocacy in international affairs at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva and European policymaking from Vrije Universiteit Brussels. She speaks English and some Italian. She lives in Brussels.
