Jeremy Wittet

Jeremy Wittet is director of public affairs at EGA and helps lead the day-to-day business for several of its top clients, assisting in the navigation of key legislative initiatives and complex regulatory issues.

Prior to joining EGA’s Ottawa office, he was chief of staff to a prominent Ottawa City Councillor with responsibilities over emergency services, transportation, social housing, sport, and city planning. Prior to City Hall, Mr. Wittet worked on Parliament Hill as a policy advisor to the Chief Government Whip and assistant to the Parliamentary Secretary for Health and Veterans Affairs where he worked on key files such as the Canada Food Guide and veteran’s employment programs.

Mr. Wittet has also worked in various capacities provincially at Queen’s Park, including for the former deputy premier. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Ottawa Catholic School Board and successfully earned a second-term mandate during the 2018 municipal election. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Western University and a business certificate from Georgian College. Mr. Wittet’s areas of practice include government and political relations, public policy, legislative affairs, and regulatory affairs.
