Jenn Phillips

Jenn Phillips is a seasoned political operator with over 15 years’ experience at every government level. From the House of Commons to Municipal government, to political campaigns, Ms. Phillips has seen our institutions work from the ground up. ​

Prior to joining Edelman, Ms. Phillips held senior leadership positions with the Ministers of Veterans Affairs, Fisheries and Oceans, and Public Safety. Ms. Phillips has also worked as a public servant at the Public Health Agency of Canada, and at the Samara Centre for Democracy, a think-tank that studies the health of Canadian democracy. From these positions, Ms. Phillips brings to Edelman expertise in issue management, political strategy and operations, policy development and management, complex stakeholder relations, and communications.​

Ms. Phillips walked into her first campaign office 20 years ago and has done it all: from assembling signs and knocking on doors, to campaign management and most recently managing GOTV (get out the vote) for the Prairies and North for the Liberal Party’s national campaign.​

Ms. Phillips has a Political Science Degree from Simon Fraser University, where she focused her studies on Canadian politics and government. Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Ms. Phillips moved to Ottawa, ON in 2009 where she lives with her son Bruce.
