Helena Pires

Helena joined the Edelman Global Advisory Team as an EU Public Affairs Healthcare Intern in Brussels in January 2024.​ Prior to joining Edelman Global Advisory, and regarding University, Helena was the Vice-President of External Affairs for the National Pharmacy Students’ Association and the founder and coordinator of Let it Flow, an organization whose goals were to educate children regarding menstrual poverty and taboos and collect menstrual products to schools, prison, houseless, etc.

Helena holds a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences and post-graduate course in Law and Economics of Health and Medicines, both from the University of Lisbon and lived in Graz, Austria, during her ERAMUS+ where she explored the role of flavonoids in health. ​ She is a native Portuguese speaker and fluent in English.
