Haolie Jiang

Haolie Jiang serves as a senior analyst at Edelman Global Advisory, Asia Pacific, specializing in Southeast Asia politics, labor relations, sustainability, and climate developments. He has worked on regional client projects across sectors and issues such as agri-food, fast moving consumer goods, healthcare and biomedicine, fintech, labor rights and relations, climate issues, energy transition, and Southeast Asia development. Mr. Jiang draws from his deep experience in Southeast Asian and Singaporean civil society and academia on issues around democracy-building, climate action, and migrant labor rights.

He co-founded Community for Advocacy and Political Education, one of Singapore’s first independent and most prominent youth civil society groups focused on building civic literacy and democratic capacity. He has also been a senior volunteer at Transient Workers Count Too for nearly a decade, a Singapore-based NGO advocating for low-wage migrant labor rights. Previously, he was a labor researcher at the Global Care Policy Index Project at Yale-NUS College, where he specialized in global care work regulatory policies and protections. Mr. Jiang earned a bachelor’s degree with honors in global affairs at Yale-NUS College. His undergraduate dissertation was awarded the Yale-NUS Outstanding Capstone Prize. He is Singaporean and is fluent in English.
