Carolina Deaza serves as an analyst with the Public, Government Affairs & Crisis practice based in Bogota, Colombia. She currently works on the pharmaceutical, oil and gas, and food and beverage industries.
Before joining Edelman, Ms. Deaza was a project analyst in an international consultancy firm attracting new clients and companies in the food, textile, and industrial sectors through B2B matchmaking, roadshows, and headhunting. She also worked with NGOs in the Colombian Pacific supporting communities displaced by armed conflict.
Ms. Deaza has experience in research, social listening, regulatory and legislative monitoring for decision making, and developing awareness campaigns for therapeutic areas. She is a political scientist with an emphasis in international relations from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
