Ashley Brambles

With over 15 years of experience in stakeholder and government relations, Ashley Brambles is a person-focused, resourceful problem solver, and strategic thinker who comes to Edelman Global Advisory (EGA) to streamline health, policy, and politics as health lead for EGA in Canada. Ms. Brambles comes to EGA with experience across government, public, private and not-for-profit sectors.​

Prior to joining EGA, Ms. Brambles led the communications, stakeholder, and government relations response to the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccine response as Director of Communications and Community Engagement at Ottawa Public Health – for which she was awarded a Key to the City. Her background is concentrated within the health sector, having worked in government relations at a leading national physician’s medical association as well as in a local palliative care hospice.​

Ms. Brambles graduated from Dalhousie University with a bachelor’s degree in Middle Eastern History, followed by a Post-Graduate Certificate program in Public Relations at Humber College. She has been a committed volunteer with The Hospice at May Court and Kind Canada as a Kindness Ambassador. She held a Director position with the Algonquin College Foundation Board and is an advisor with the Ottawa Board of Trade’s Build Up Ottawa Committee.​​
