Anand Patel is a media professional and consultant who currently serves as Associate Vice President for Edelman Global Advisory India. He specializes in government outreach and developing advocacy strategies surrounding India’s political landscape, and has an expertise in tracking South Asian geopolitics, trade and economic issues, and India’s zero-carbon commitments.
He previously served as Deputy Editor for India Today, where he reported on national politics and policy. For nearly 10 years he was Bureau Chief of NDTV, a leading news channel in India, where he led a team of reporters and journalists to cover the states of India-Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh.
Mr. Patel has a master’s in mass communication, journalism, and media studies from Kurukshetra University, a diploma in broadcast journalism from Cardiff University, and a master’s in economics from University of Lucknow.
