Ana María Aranguren serves as Program Manager at Edelman Global Advisory in Colombia. She has joined Edelman Global Advisory, after working as Technical Analyst at the Social Impact Bonds Project in Colombia (SIBs.CO) which is executed by Fundación Corona, Interamerican Development Bank, and Switzerland International Cooperation, and researcher for the formulation of the Bogota human talent public policy with the Universidad del Rosario.
She had experience in the social sector and consultancy, especially in investigation and project execution. Ana María was a nominee as a Connector at the Edelman GWEN Challenger Awards in 2021. During the university, she was a nominee as a Collegiate, the highest distinction that a student could have at Universidad del Rosario in 2014.
Mrs. Aranguren has a master’s degree in public policy from Universidad de Los Andes, a specialization in evaluation and development of projects from Universidad del Rosario, and a bachelorette in political science and international relations from Universidad del Rosario. She published with the Foreign Affairs Ministry the article, Preventive Diplomacy in defense of the democracy: the Interamerican experience in 2013. Her master’s degree thesis, The use of Public Innovation tools in the public policy formulation in Colombia, will be published soon in the Universidad de Los Andes Government School journal.
In their free time, she enjoys reading and practicing belly dance.
