Mr. Sharma serves as Senior Program Manager for Public & Government Affairs (Ontario) at Edelman Global Advisory Canada. He assists the Public Affairs team with GR Strategy through project management, policy and legislative research, engaging diplomatic missions, stakeholder engagement and supporting client relationships in multiple sectors, including aviation, technology, and infrastructure.
Prior to joining EGA, Mr. Sharma served as Policy Advisor and Legislative Assistant for the Ontario government and led the NATO Association of Canada’s international affairs campaigns by working closely with senior diplomats. He was nominated by the association to represent its interests at the US Consulate (Toronto) as part of its Next Generation Leaders Network. He is also a Board Member of the British Canadian Chamber of Trade, where he promotes the Canada-UK bi-lateral relationship through international trade efforts.
In 2022, Mr. Sharma became one of the youngest Freeman of the City of London for his close connection and work with the city. He graduated as the 2021 Class Valedictorian from the University of Toronto, with an International Affairs Specialist and Economics Major. In his free time, he volunteers with the St. George’s Society of Toronto and the Honourable Company of Freemen to promote England’s culture and traditions in Toronto. He is an aviation enthusiast who enjoys plane-spotting.
