This week, Mexico's government unveiled the "Mexico Plan," to cut its trade deficit with China, while Ecuador's Vice President Verónica Abad accused President Daniel Noboa of leading political persecution. Brazil's government revoked a measure for monitoring transactions via Pix and the Argentine government has called for extraordinary sessions in Congress. Chile's President Gabriel Boric secured an agreement with senators from the right, and protestors in Bolivia arrived in La Paz to demand a solution to the economic crisis and President Luis Arce's resignation.
