EGA Announces Emma Peacock as Chair, EGA Health
June 10, 2024 – WASHINGTON, D.C. – Edelman Global Advisory (EGA) today announced that Emma S. Peacock will serve as Chair, EGA Health.
Peacock has had a long, distinguished career leading global public affairs, policy, advocacy, and communications in the health sector. A proven leader in the industry and trusted adviser to senior executives, she will be at the forefront of EGA’s advisory team, helping clients navigate a complex landscape across the global health industry.

Prior to joining EGA, Peacock had a notable 15-year career at Pfizer, where she most recently served as Interim Vice President of Global Public Affairs & Policy, Emerging Markets. In that role, she led a team of 50 public affairs professionals responsible for government engagement and advancing business-relevant policy priorities across 140 countries spanning Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

Before her Interim Vice President role, Peacock was based in the US and UK working across Pfizer’s portfolio of businesses, including Global Primary Care, Essential Health, Specialty, Oncology, Anti-Infectives and Global Brands. As Therapeutic Area Public Affairs & Strategy Lead, Emerging Markets, she led efforts to rapidly expand access to Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine and treatment in Emerging Markets through government and supranational engagement, including COVAX, and also served on Pfizer China’s Extended Leadership Team. Prior to that, as Corporate Affairs Lead, she was appointed to Pfizer’s COVID-19 Global Taskforce to co-lead internal communications to the company’s 75,000 colleagues and coordinate all Corporate Affairs efforts.
Prior to Pfizer, Peacock led government affairs efforts for Sanofi—then Sanofi-Aventis—and British public affairs firm Morgan Allen Moore.
